Product information

            Lincomycin hydrochloride is a white or practically white, crystalline powder and is odorless or has a faint odor. Its solutions are acid and are dextrorotatory. Lincomycin hydrochloride is freely soluble in water; soluble in dimethylformamide and very slightly soluble in acetone. Lincomycin is an antibiotic derived from cultures of the bacterium Streptomyces lincolnensis and used in the treatment of certain penicillin-resistant infections.

1. Lincomycin hydrochloride is an antibiotic produced by Streptomyces lincolnensis var. lincolnensis. 
2.It has been used in the treatment of staphylococcal, streptococcal, and Bacteroides fragilis infections.

Product Application

 1.antibiotic drug used in human and veterinary medicine, primarily against gram-positive pathogens, and not effective against gram-negative bacteria such as Neisserie gonorrhoeae or Neisseria meningitidis. 
2.used against susceptible strains of streptococci, pneumococci, and staphlylococci which usually can also be treated with penicillin or erythromycin.
