     Esculin, also rendered Aesculin or Esculin, is a coumarin glucoside that naturally occurs in the horse chestnut (Aesculus hippocastanum),California buckeye (Aesculus californica),Prickly Box (Bursaria spinosa) and in daphnin (the dark green resin of Daphne mezereum). It is also found in dandelion coffee.

Function of Esculin

1. It has the function of anti-inflammation, anti-bacteria, anti-cancer;
2. It can ease pain, anti-arrhythmic, anti-histaminic;
3. It is used in the manufacturing of pharmaceuticals with venotonic,capillary-strengthening and antiphlogistic action similar to that of Vitamin P;
