Product information

           This product is from thyroid of pigs, cattle, sheep and other edible animals. It is made by removing connective tissues and fat, mince, dehydration and degreasing, then placed in a dry environment under 60℃ and finished by porphyrization. 
The product is consists of linothyronine and levothyroxine and is applied to maintenance of normal physical development, promote metabolism and so on. It is mainly used for cretinism (congenital myxedema) caused by thyroxine insufficiency, pachydermic cachexia and other hypothyroidism.

Product Function

1.  L-Thyroxine sodium be used to treat hypothyroidism, and is the treatment of choice for patients with hypothyroidism, who often require lifelong thyroid hormone therapy.
2.It may also be used to treat goitervia its ability to lower thyroid-stimulating hormone (TSH), a hormone that is considered goiter-inducing.
3.Levothyroxine is also used as interventional therapy in patients with nodular thyroid disease or thyroid cancer to suppress thyroid-stimulating hormone (TSH) secretion.
