       Eprinomectinorigin:it is a semi-synthesized product of fermented avermectin b1.chemical name: 4"-epi-4"-deoxy-acetylaminoavermectin b1formula and molecular weight: b1a c5oh75no14=913 b1b c49h73no14=899assay: based on drying, it contains of b1 not less than 90%.character: the product is white or light yellow crystalline powder.its melting point is 161-166°c.the product is soluble in methanol, ethanol and ethyl acetate, not soluble in water.usage: it is not only a broad spectrum and the most efficacious antiparasite drug of averrmectin kind, but also one of this kind of drugs with the lowest distribution coefficients in milk. tests show that the product, administered as 0.2mg/kg body weight, can effectively prevent and treat internal and external parasites of cattle and sheep. after administered to lactating cattle, the concentration ratio in milk to in plasma is less than 0.2. the residue amount of the drug in milk is low, so it does not need withdrawal period when administered to lactating cow; the residue amount in muscle is low, so there is also no withdrawal period in beef cattle.storage: keep closed and store away from light in a cool and dry place.

Product Function

1.Eprinomectin is a mixture of eprinomectins B1a and B1b in a 9:1 ratio, produced from a mixture of avermectin B1a and B1b. 
2.Eprinomectin is used commercially as a topical endectocide (insecticide, miticide and nematocide) for cattle, including lactating dairy cows. Like all avermectins and milbemycins, eprinomectin acts by binding to parasite glutamate-gated chloride ion channels and disrupts neurotransmission leading to paralysis and death of the parasite, mite or insect.  

Product Application

1.Eprinomectin is moderately used in ruminants, mainly in pour-ons and injectables. So far it is not used in swine, poultry or horses. Use in cats as a spot-on (in combination with other actives) is still rather scarce. So far it is not used in dogs.
2.In most finished products, efficacy and safety depend not only on the amount of active ingredient(s) but also on their formulations (i.e. the type and amount of so-called inert ingredients), particularly in injectables and in topical pour-ons and spot-ons. 
2.These inert ingredients can significantly affect the pharmacokinetic behavior (e.g. absorption through the skin or from the site, distribution within the body, spreading throughout the body surface, etc.). 
3.Generic products usually contain the same amount of active ingredient(s) as the original product, but often in quite different formulations. In many cases, the curative (therapeutic) efficacy of the different formulations is quite comparable, but the protective (prophylactic) efficacy that determines the length of protection against re-infestations may be rather different.
